I was asked the other day,

 Why does your company exist?

Divine Response exists because my shoulder froze after 30 years of cosmetology dedication and I wanted to establish that my accumulated expertise counts for something significant. Divine Response stands for the response I received from the divine when I asked the Adoring All what was my next leap of faith. 

 

I want to give my clients the best products possible to make sure their hair is maintained at optimal efficiency. 

 

The problem of using cheaply made (not necessarily inexpensive) or harmful ingredients feels like a "lacking mentality". SLS, propylene glycol, phthylates (perfume setting additives) are just some of the yuck big companies push on the unsuspecting consumer. 

Some benefits my clients find in using Divine Response products are: 

1. Helps to alleviate an irritated or dry flaky scalp,
2. Controls the “see-saw” effects of having dry hair the first day, and supper oily the next or (oily scalp and dry, breaking or brittle on the ends) which is accompanied with the use of harsh surfactants,
3. Reverses follicle build up that is caused by accumulation of gums, from incorrect blending of harsh ingredients or sweating out toxins emitting from scalp pores.

What is Hair Balancing?

A CLIENT ASKED ME A GREAT QUESTION THAT I WANT TO GIVE ANSWER TO:

Hey Daryl!

Can you tell me if the hair re-balancing is a physical thing, or a spiritual thing?.... My only experience with acupuncture (the comparison in your pamphlet) is for physical reasons, but I think some people use it for spiritual too. Can you tell me how the procedure is done... Like, if it's a hands-on-healing type thing, or are essential oils used, or something else.

Thank you for your questions, Camie~

You help me integrate my own thought & feelings of what Hair Balancing is and how it works for my clients. Simply put, Hair Balancing is both physical and spiritual. . . and mental and emotional, it's Holistic in nature and can help balance the whole or any part of the person.

WHAT is it? Hair Balancing is called an “ancient” hair cutting healing art, based on a sacred geometry formula. A precise hair sculpting technique that cuts each hair up to four times: horizontally, vertically and diagonally both ways, as the Practitioner moves around the head cutting the hair using Hair Balancing’s geometric formula. As the hair is balanced, so is the person.

HOW is it done? First, I ask my client to focus their Intention (either a short prayer or one or two sentences that focuses their desire in an image, feeling, or outcome of their Ideal hair style). Second, we take a moment of silence, incorporating the client’s desire and my connection with my gift, and then begin by following the meridian (energy) lines of the scalp, picking up a particular geometric shape of hair section, holding the hair in a particular direction to the head and begin sculpting the cut. By meeting each cut to cut, the whole head is blended perfectly.

Sometimes even I am baffled by the energy exchange, for its form is beyond my verbal (or written) clear delivery. Hair Balancing is more than the sum of its individual parts. Explanations are mere shadows of what is experienced.

My use of Intention helps to focus both myself and my client. There is a vital power in seeing what you want and knowing it is obtainable. (So many times in my 33 years of Cosmetology experience, I have heard, “No one has ever given me what I really want with my hair cut before.”) INSTEAD of hearing a client to say this, I have them picture what they want, say their intention silently or out load and believe it is possible.

An Example Intention: “My hair now shines with health, frames my face beautifully and announces to the world my grounded and powerful self, giving me pleasure in its graceful bounce and I am successful in my life!”

I love to practice Hair Balancing because I am honored to experience the energy raised and the satisfaction of my clients. In the next 33 years of Cosmetology service, I look forward to every Hair Balancing I can perform.
